I have been a passionate creator of art for my entire life. I recently transitioned out of teaching Studio art and Photography to fulltime artist. My work is bold in color and conceptually provocative. It captures and interprets natural environments and popular culture in an expression of color and minimal composition. My work is considered to be an interpretation of American Modernism. I work in oils, acrylic, mixed media, photography and sometimes I like to get into clay and stone. It’s all part of the processes that end with a satisfying piece of art.
